Through COPEMA—the Coalition of Parliamentarians Committed to the Elimination of Malaria in Africa, elected officials from several countries are joining forces to make malaria a political priority, strengthen domestic funding, promote effective policies, and ensure that every community has access to essential prevention and treatment services.
Malaria is not just a public health challenge. It is an issue of development, equity, and social justice. Parliaments have the power to change laws, influence budgets, and ensure accountability to accelerate its elimination.
